For the second "true" home game of the season, the Northern Lions U16s took on a team from Morges-Yverdon. Unfortunately the U18 opposition pulled out at the last minute, so the older group did not have a game. In the event the sun even made an appearance, although the clouds kept rolling through.

The U16s were also down on numbers, but working together with the Northern Lions, the teams managed a good game of 13-a-side. The Lions players who were in Morges colours still played ferociously, and enjoyed the idea of scoring against their own team!

Lions were convincing winners, with a final score of 82-21. This sets them up well for their next game, a top of the table clash against Zug on 7th May.

The players, coaches and fans were well supported by team mates, supporters and GC members who ran the bar and barbecue, building the club and rugby spirit.
