On Saturday our U14s traveled to Baar to meet Zug, meanwhile the U16s and U19s were in Bern also facing their Zug counterparts, playing as part of the Northern Lions entente team.

The weather in Bern was beautiful and everyone enjoyed an amazing day of rugby. Coach Peter was proud of both the teams and gave particular mention to Sean and Mathew, who had strong games and Diego who performed like a machine on the pitch. Meanwhile Jack provided amazing leadership and Xavier, despite being one of the smallest guys, worked hard and fast. Ollie and Santiago both put in amazing performances, and finally Lewin was awarded back of the day. Final scores were U16 defeated 19:36 and U19 defeated 29:55

In Baar, the U14s also put in a great effort. Coach Rudy praised the teams determination and ability to read the defense as well as some great runs by Ryan, Olivier and Mitja and some superb tackling by Hugo.
